Job Description:
AHMG Rothman Orthopedics at Clermont
1919 HWY 50, Suite 206, Clermont, FL / will travel to Winter Garden location
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Makes pre-operative calls to discusses discharge plans, obtains patient information, and answers questions.
Makes post-operative calls within two weeks of surgery, using clinical judgment to direct care based on shared information.
Previews charts pre-operatively, documenting pertinent information including surgical clearances.
Collates, distributes, and discusses post-op discharge instructions with patients and referring physicians.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Medical Office procedures and medical terminology [Required]
• Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office [Required]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• from an accredited professional athletic training education program and BOC (Board of Certification) passing exam score
Work Experience:
• 2+ in orthopedics [Required]
Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications:
• Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
