A respected business law group is adding a senior‑level corporate legal professional to support a rapidly growing corporate and transactional practice. This is a newly created role and a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated support person for a high‑performing corporate team handling sophisticated matters.
This position is ideal for someone who thinks like an attorney, executes like a paralegal, and thrives on autonomy.
? What Sets This Senior Corporate Paralegal Role Apart

✨ Hands‑on involvement with M& A, business sales, and commercial real estate
✨ Minimal supervision—trusted to own your work and move matters forward
✨ Corporate experience required (litigation will not translate here)
✨ Visible role serving as the bridge between attorneys and administrative support
? Key Responsibilities
✅ Support a growing corporate practice with high‑volume transactional work
✅ Assist with mergers & acquisitions, business sales, and commercial real estate matters
✅ Draft, organize, and manage corporate and transactional documents
✅ Coordinate across attorneys, clients, and administrative staff
✅ Maintain organization and workflow without heavy attorney oversight
✅ Track time (target 100 billable hours/month; no penalty if unmet)
✅ Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced practice
Requirements
? What We’re Looking For
? 5+ years of experience in corporate law (law firm or in‑house)
? Strong professionalism and judgment—carries themselves like an attorney
? Able to work independently and anticipate client and attorney needs
? Comfortable in a growing, evolving practice with long‑standing clients
? Organized, reliable, and willing to jump in wherever needed
? Litigation background not a fit
? Work Environment
? In‑office role in Winston‑Salem
? Typical schedule starts at 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. (7.5‑hour day with lunch break)
