Millerbernd Manufacturing Co. R&C Machine Operator 1 - 2nd or Weekend shift in Winsted, Minnesota
NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is looking for a R&C Machine Operator 1 to join our 2nd or Weekend shift team within the Circular Products (CP) business unit. This R&C Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, loading, and unloading various machines/ equipment to manufacture metal products in accordance with product specifications.
Job Title: R&C Machine Operator 1
Location: onsite in Winsted, MN
Salary Range: $21.46 – 25.25 per hour (Non-Exempt)
(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)
Shift Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am OR Weekend shift Friday – Sunday 5am – 5pm
Shift Differential: 2nd shift – $1.50/hour OR Weekend shift – $2.50/hour
As a R&C Machine Operator 1, you will:
Operate 1-7 level I machines
Simple set up routine required
Notify supervisor or lead machine operator of defective materials and machine malfunctions
Work is usually repetitive and subject to process inspection
May be required to use gauges to check work
Load and feed metal stock and other materials into manual or automatic machines
Verify end parts are consistent with blue print specifications
Accurately label all parts for routing to next operation
Monitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequence
Ability to electronically record production information
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
Ability to work with others as part of a high-performance team
Ability to adapt to changing work priorities
Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE
Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements
Role Qualifications as a R&C Machine Operator 1:
Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in a manufacturing setting as a team
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to perform basic shop math functions
Ability to set up and safely operate equipment
Ability to operate hoists, cranes, and other powered industrial vehicles as needed
Ability to operate various power and hand tools
Ability to use various measuring devices; tape measures, squares, and calipers
Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods
