What the day will look like
Operate as part of the National Centre of Excellence for Construction, serving clients across Canada.
Collaborate with Account Executives in assigned regions to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for both renewal and prospective business in the Construction and Contracting segment.
Process and/or issue, where applicable, new policies and renewals, as well as policy changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations.
Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation for new business and renewals.
Analyze client-specific risk exposures and identify coverage requirements; prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
Support the negotiation, establishment, and maintenance of strong relationships with the underwriting community to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.
Follow up with insurers to confirm that the terms of negotiated contracts are met.
Communicate directly with underwriters to obtain additional information and follow up on outstanding items.
Review and proofread all assignments, ensuring accuracy, obtaining required signatures, and distributing documents as appropriate.
Calculate adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance documents.
Provide day-to-day support and guidance to Broking Coordinator(s), as appropriate to level.
Lead by example by demonstrating and promoting best practices across all lines of business.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
Client focused with proven relationship building skills.
High business acumen and professional presentation skills.
General Insurance Level One (1) License is an asset
