SUMMARY:
This is a Part-Time position within the Recreation Department. Incumbents perform the more routine technical duties while learning operational policies and procedures.
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: *
- Enforces rules and regulations pertaining to pool operation and safety and supervises pool areas when in use.
- Administers first aid and/or CPR as needed; performs water rescue functions.
- Functions as a crew member within an emergency plan for the handling of accidents in pool areas.
- Maintains standards of facility sanitation, assisting with cleaning and general maintenance of the facility.
- Checks visitors into the swimming facility and collects fees.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
