Ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Include:
Overall ownership of material sent to our repair vendor network through return receipt and issue to Work In Process
Establish priorities, ensure proper material flow, while managing turn-times and estimated completion dates
Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
Daily Shortage Management – data input/updates into shortage system and SAP
Participate in vendor status meetings via Teams
Input Airway bills, track shipments to-and-from vendors
Conduct daily walks on the warehouse floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues/problem shelves
Support all lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts to solve problems
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions
Position may evolve to include other duties as required, such as New Material or Used Serviceable Material ordering as the business needs evolve
Required Qualifications:
4-year college degree in business, supply chain, or related field plus 3 years of buyer, supply chain, materials, production scheduling, or related business experience in SAP or equivalent ERP system
High School diploma and an additional 2 years of buyer, supply chain, materials, production scheduling, or related business experience in SAP or equivalent ERP system
Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills

FLIGHT DECK / Lean fundamentals with demonstrated results
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
