What you'll do...
The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Under minimal supervision perform Production Control Specialist duties as assigned.
Use customer releases along with the weekly manufacturing plans to produce, and distribute, daily, weekly and monthly Production Schedules to meet customer demand including updating and maintaining CMMS as required.
Responsible for Godzilla engine line, piston and rod assembly and cylinder head assembly.Produce daily ship schedules for all customers based on the shipping releases and customer instructions.
Monitor engine inventories to ensure adequate dock float is available to satisfy shipping requirements.
Track and order bulk oil as required to support production
Daily review of production count entries and inventory levels and investigate and correct any discrepancies
Arrange expedite shipments as required through Lean Logistics Provider (LLP) and Premium Logistics Management, (PLM)
Must follow all established procedures and processes, complying with all the requirements of the job function.
Start times may vary in accordance with the postings being covered and may include mandatory overtime (within regulated limits).
You'll have...
Education:
Post-Secondary education required. A degree/diploma in a logistics, business or accounting related field is preferred.(Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.)
Experience:
Background in production control/parts procurement preferred.
Requires a thorough knowledge of corporate inventory and procurement systems and other related software programs.
Additionally, must have extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite.

The expected monthly pay range for this position is $8,317.00 - $9,442.00.
