Job Title: Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment within our facility. The role requires expertise in installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, blueprint interpretation, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
Interpret and utilize blueprints for effective installations and repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.
Work with emergency shutdowns and preventative maintenance procedures.
Essential Skills
442A/309A certification.
2+ years of experience as a ticketed Electrician.
Proficient in installation and maintenance of relays, contractors, VFDs, sensors, motors, bearings, pneumatic valves, and cylinders.
Experience with electrical wiring, conduit, and industrial pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
Experience in a unionized environment.

Work Environment
The role operates on a continental night shift schedule, consisting of 4x 12-hour shifts one week and 3x 12-hour shifts the next week, with compensation for 42 hours each week. The environment encourages flexibility, with additional pay for work outside the normal scheduled shifts unless a shift was missed earlier in the pay period.
