Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies Ecommerce Manager in Windber, Pennsylvania

Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to manage and track online sales while overseeing assistants . Responsibilities include processing items, writing descriptions, and shipping products . The manager is involved in the development of online reselling for salvage materials and maintains a communication chain with store managers . Qualifications and Requirements: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: Computer experience is required. Experience with online sales and second-hand market value knowledge. Supervisory experience. Clearances: Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including the Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and the Pennsylvania Criminal History Check. Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies will facilitate and cover the costs of these clearances upon hire. Other: Ability to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasionally long hours (more than 8 hours). Must be dependable in attendance and punctuality. Skills, Abilities, and Duties: Technology and Records: Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently while maintaining accurate records of all items processed . Product Knowledge: Knowledge of antiques and collectibles to ensure items are correctly identified and priced . Logistics: Prepares orders for shipment to ensure they arrive safely to buyers . Area Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the eCommerce area and ensuring items are stored neatly . Equipment and Systems: Ability to operate a pallet jack and utilize UKG systems for clocking in/out and submitting timesheets on time . Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing . Must work congenially and effectively with other Goodwill store and agency employees Compliance: Adheres to Goodwill?s policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful environment for staff and customers . Must maintain hygiene and grooming standards . Training: Must complete all required training throughout the year . Judgment: Ability to perform basic job duties with minimal supervision, exercising good judgment and initiative . Physical Demands: Vision/Hearing: Vision and hearing must be corrected to within normal limits . Movement: Ability to perform prolonged walking and standing, as well as frequent bending, stooping, and stretching . Lifting: Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally . Standards for Measuring Performance: The degree to which listed and assigned duties are carried out in a prompt, thorough, and acceptable manner . The manner in which the individual follows directions and responds to requests by the Regional Manager and other superiors .
