Job Description
Day-To-Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and HVAC projects that support critical infrastructure. On a daily basis, they manage active workstreams related to chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, pumps, piping, and controls systems, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with uptime and safety standards. They serve as the main point of contact for clients, coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, track progress, and documentation, and proactively address risks or issues that could impact operations. The role also involves supporting estimating and future project planning, maintaining compliance with internal processes and client requirements, and communicating regularly with cross functional teams to ensure smooth delivery in live, mission critical environments.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
o 10+ years of field experience in HVACR or mechanical systems, including work in complex environments and advanced troubleshooting
o Strong understanding of mechanical infrastructure including chillers, CRAC/CRAH systems, and controls
o Experience working in industrial, commercial, or mission critical environments
o Coordinating field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to keep work aligned with scope, safety standards, and operational requirements Preferred Qualifications:
o PMP Certification (preferred)
o Mechanical or HVAC-related certifications (preferred)
