These are the qualifications that matter.- Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering + 5 years in quality, OR - Master's degree in Quality Engineering + 2 years in quality, OR - 10 years of exempt-level quality experience- Knowledge of machining, heat treatment, metallurgical processes, and gauge development/control- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT), CMM, gauge calibration, and SPC data collection- Ability to read and interpret blueprints- ASQ Certified Quality Technician status preferred- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)- Strong verbal and written communication skillsKey Responsibilities- Serve as primary contact for quality-related issues with customers and suppliers- Analysis of rejected products at internal and customer facilities- Lead countermeasure meetings and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)- Maintain quality reporting systems and prepare management reports- Follow PPAP, MSA, APQP, and ASQ standards as applicable- Create and maintain inspection standards for receiving, in-process, and shipping inspections- Train quality technicians and inspectors as requested- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and efficiency- Communicate effectively across departments and with customers regarding quality concernsWhy This Job?Our client offers a range of competitive benefits to keep their teams happy, healthy, and invested.
