This is a direct-hire position!Responsibilities- Oversee general and cost accounting functions, including general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, and cash management- Maintain and manage the company's accounting system, records, and chart of accounts- Prepare financial statements, statistical reports, and management reporting- Lead budget preparation and provide analysis of actual vs. budget performance- Monitor and coordinate cash management activities, including payroll and investments- Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff performance- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements- Coordinate external audits and prepare required schedules and documentation- Prepare consolidation schedules and reporting for the parent company- Support tax filings (sales tax, property tax, and related requirements)- Assist departments with budgeting, coding, and financial processes- Support system improvements and accounting process changes- Communicate financial results and planning insights to leadership and the parent companyMarvin's Take?
