Job Description
We are seeking a Engineering Specialist . This role will analyze ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factor. This role is a full-time, contract and is on-site.
What You'll Do
Analyzes ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors
Designs, recommends revisions to and installs quality control systems
Develops and documents analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components
Conducts analysis on relative reliability with regard to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production and availability of materials and equipment
Develops, implements and monitors company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations, and recommends corrective actions, if any
Responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance
Responsible for implementation & management of technical and testing standards & specs, quality control & reliability programs governing materials, product & processes resulting in optimizing use of material and labor
Responsible for failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication
What You'll Need:
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Competency in using technical tools specific to the job function: e.g. CAD, CAE, industrial or quality engineering tools.
Basic knowledge of general engineering tools (LEAN or 6-sigma) such as DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings

$52.00 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
