Job Description Summary
The Facilities Projects Resource Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing all onboarding activities for facilities projects at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear (GVH) site in Wilmington, NC. In this position you will ensure that vendors and contingent workers are properly set up in relevant databases, meet site access and documentation requirements, and complete all required training and badging in alignment with GE Vernova, Hitachi Nuclear, and GVH policies and procedures. The position supports a Lean culture and continuous improvement of contractor onboarding processes.
Job Description
Role Responsibilities
Serve as a member of the Wilmington NC site facilities team responsible and accountable for all vendor and contingent worker onboarding, including vendor logistics, system troubleshooting and problem solving, technology/database habilitation, training coordination, and security logistics. Significant initial focus on process development and simplification for large volume of facilities trades contractors for construction projects.
Contingent Worker Program (VNDLY)
Manage vendor and worker onboarding in VNDLY, including setup, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization
Coordinate vendor registration, documentation, and worker profiles
Review and approve assignments; track and manage worker end dates
Access & Security
Coordinate badging (visitor, escorted, non-escorted) per site protocols
Support site access training scheduling with Security
Training & Compliance
Assist vendors with required training and monitor completion
Ensure compliance with site and company requirements
Systems & Process Support
Maintain onboarding tools and systems; resolve data and setup issues
Partner with Facilities, Sourcing, and EHS to support contractor onboarding
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline onboarding and reduce cycle time
Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives
Communication & Coordination
Act as primary contact for vendors and contractors
Communicate onboarding status and issues to stakeholders
Collaborate across Facilities, Security, HR, Sourcing, and Operations
Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of experience in procurement, operations, project management, or related field
Eligibility Requirements
Ability to work on-site at the Wilmington, NC nuclear facility and comply with all site access and safety requirements.
Flexibility to support onboarding and execution needs during peak periods or off-hours if required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel and vendor information.
Basic computer skills and ability to handle confidential information

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,700.00 and $121,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
