Responsibilities
Design and develop new embedded software using C and C++.
Enhance and maintain existing embedded software architectures.
Collaborate closely with hardware engineers on new target platforms.
Troubleshoot hardware/software interface issues effectively.
Develop applications for 8/16/32-bit embedded systems within defined standards and processes.
Perform debugging using software debuggers and in-circuit emulators.
Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in embedded software design and development.
Proficiency in programming and debugging with embedded systems in C/C++.
Experience with debugging tools and in-circuit microprocessor emulators.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to follow engineering processes and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working effectively in team environments.
Experience with Firmware, RTOS, C programming, and Embedded Linux.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
