Description

Content Writer with 1-3+ years of relevant experience needed for a full-time, fully onsite position with our client in the Burlington MA area. Looking for someone who loves to write and who does NOT rely on AI to write content. Will be writing content for blogs, social media, emails, video scripts, campaigns, ads, press releases, case studies, event content, and web content.

This is a fully onsite position (not negotiable) and only local candidates who do not need to relocate will be considered. Must have relevant writing samples or a portfolio of relevant work to be considered. Must be comfortable interviewing subject matter experts and working cross functionally. Must enjoy doing research. Must be skilled in taking complicated content and making it more easily understand by non-technical professionals. Must be comfortable working in s shared office space.

Responsibilities

  • Create content for blogs, social media, emails, video scripts, campaigns, ads, case studies, press releases, event content, and web content

  • Take complicated content and make it more easily understandable

  • Research and develop a working understanding of the company’s target audiences, industries, and use cases to create content that is aligned with our marketing objectives

  • Interview customers and colleagues to produce stories that support the company’s positioning

  • Iterate on content based on performance data, feedback, and evolving business priorities

  • Support the Communications team with content for press releases and third-party publications

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience creating B2B content

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field

  • Exceptional writing skills and understanding of the English language, grammar, syntax, and information organization

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Openness to feedback and revising content based on constructive feedback and marketing goals

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Strong ability to understand, analyze, and communicate technical subject matter

  • Knowledge of best practices in SEO, digital marketing, and social media

  • Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence
