As a Senior Product Associate within the Service Product Group in Community & Consumer Bank (CCB), you will contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. Job responsibilities
Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Write the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Perform in-depth analysis for fact-finding on existing behavior of the system (including business logic and end-to-end data flow) and educate stakeholders to help ensure the build of comprehensive, robust requirements
Refine stories to a level of detail that will enable code to be written and tested without defects or requirements gaps; write acceptance criteria and generate test scripts
Manage product backlog along with Product Owners - including having 2 sprints backlog refined and partnering with Scrum Master on sequencing
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Must have the ability to easily assimilate information and learn new applications and processes
Expertise in business requirements writing and communication
Must have a solid ability to analyze complex system requirements and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of delivery and new product feature creation
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience, ideally in process re-engineering, customer-centric functions and working with global teams
Experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle; advanced knowledge of using tools like Confluence and JIRA; Agile/Scrum certifications a plus
Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with financial services and understanding of the financial services industry and Regulatory, Legal, and Risk environments
