OneMain Financial Operations Strategy Analyst in Wilmington, Delaware
The Operations Strategy Analyst turns strategic direction into actionable, measurable operational pilots and initiatives. This role supports the design, execution, and evaluation of pilots that strengthen the operating model, enhance efficiency, and drive productivity and scalability.
Using data-driven analysis, the analyst informs decisions on pilot evolution and scaling while developing frameworks to measure performance, quality, and impact. Partnering closely with business, technology, analytics, and product teams, this role ensures strategies are grounded in clear outcomes and aligned with enterprise priorities.
In the Role
Partner with business leaders to develop business cases defining operational needs, rationale, and measurable outcomes
Support requirements development through process mapping, gap analysis, and solution recommendations
Design and maintain strategic planning materials, templates, and communications
Build and enhance dashboards, pilot trackers, and performance reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally to align initiatives and inform decision-making
Resolve escalated issues using structured analytical approaches
Prepare executive-ready presentations and materials
Conduct ad hoc analysis, support due diligence, and provide project management for strategic initiatives
Requirements
3–5 years in operations strategy, business analytics, operating model design, or transformation roles
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to guide decisions
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Preferred:
Financial services experience
Experience supporting operational pilots, transformation initiatives, or scalability efforts
Familiarity with project management methodologies and solution delivery lifecycles
Experience building business cases, performance frameworks, or executive reporting
Strong stakeholder partnership and influencing skills
Enterprise mindset with the ability to connect analysis to broader organizational strategy
