JPMorgan Chase Data Domain Architect (Multiple Positions Available) in Wilmington, Delaware
Duties: Execute monthly data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes and financial data analysis between the general ledger, data warehouses, and management reporting systems. Eliminate manual data manipulation and reconciliation processes with automation tools. Extract, analyze, and summarize large data sets for ad hoc requests across all levels of management, including cross line of business. Develop, define, and maintain key financial metrics and statistics our team creates in firm-wide repositories. Apply analytic approaches to answer business questions using data and translate technical concepts to business outcomes. Collaborate with key cross-functional teams to support data analytics, data reporting, and the development of new data solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders and the organization. Migrate to production the developed data solutions, and validate that the production results comply with regulatory requirements. Process ad-hoc requests, \"what-if\" scenario data analytics, and regulatory inquiries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect, Production Analytics Analyst, Data Programmer, Data Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect, Production Analytics Analyst, Data Programmer, Data Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: performing data architecture, data analysis, data mining, data visualization, data management, reporting and modeling; developing optimized data extraction processes using SQL query language, Statistical Analysis System (SAS), and Alteryx to extract, summarize, and report on large datasets in relational databases including Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks; using Excel to analyze and validate financial data from multiple sources with proficiency in pivot tables, the vlookup function, macros, charts, data retrieval and automation techniques; managing data lineage, data mapping, data dictionaries, and making data discoverable for users across lines of business. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: implementing changes to Hyperion Essbase cubes to maintain key financial metrics and statistics; generating and maintaining data for data visualization tools including Tableau and ThoughtSpot; processing data and generating reports on an AWS Cloud infrastructure.
