Corteva Agriscience is searching for an innovative and energetic individual for an Accounting Analyst - GL to join our finance strategic projects team within our controllership organization. The Accounting Analyst - GL role will be a key team member and will help drive general accounting projects for our business teams that create productivity and efficiency of work processes. The purpose of this role is to deliver the Finance objectives while partnering with the business and functions to ensure that all project requirements are delivered according to the project timelines.
Primary Responsibilities – How will you help us Grow?
Design, create and build general ledger solutions for use by global controllership teams.
Assist global team to develop new solutions and to drive automation.
Assist on SAP implementations for GL & data take on workstream.
Assist with data take on for all ERP & transformation projects.
Build and leverage strong partnerships with other workstreams/functions, and the business.
Communicate effectively, look for gaps in processes and designs.
Create, maintain, and provide ongoing status updates for milestones / deliverables.
Create, maintain, and provide ongoing reporting of project dependencies, issues, and risks, along with cross impacts, resolutions, and mitigations.
Train business teams to ensure smooth transition and strong communication to user groups of any changes or impacts to their work processes.
Education and Experience – What you will bring to the table!
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
5-8 years’ experience in Controllership or other Finance.
Positive, open-minded, willing to drive change.
Strong Collaboration and business partnering skills.
Understanding of practices in accounting and finance.
Strong analytical capabilities.
SAP experience preferred, Strong Excel skills required
