CNC Machinist A (2nd Shift)

Job Summary

A respected industrial manufacturer is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist for 2nd shift. This role will operate multi-axis CNC equipment to machine precision components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform turning, milling, boring, and threading operations on CNC machinery

  • Run 4-axis and 5-axis CNC equipment

  • Read blueprints, production orders, QC instructions, and work orders

  • Inspect finished parts to ensure tolerance compliance

  • Make offsets and edits to programs when needed

  • Tool prove new jobs before production release

  • Operate machines in automatic, MDI, and manual modes

  • Maintain safe and efficient workflow standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience required

  • Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis CNC equipment strongly preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances

  • Strong shop math skills

  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools

  • Ability to edit programs and troubleshoot setups
