Our Equipment Servicing department is excited to be adding to its dynamic, fun and culture driven team. Kings is currently seeking its next committed team member to fill the role of an Equipment Service Technician within our Williston, North Dakota branch. This is a permanent full-time position.

Position Summary:

The Equipment Service Technician will be responsible for disassembly, reassembly, and preparation for testing parts of pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment (i.e. we repair tubing elevators, spiders, slips, elevator links), according to required specifications and quality standards. While upholding the fundamental concepts of King's Energy Services Ltd. Quality Management System.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Take direction and fulfill responsibilities from Equipment Servicing Lead
  • Responsible for disassembly and assembly of manufactured and repaired products to manufacturers and or code specifications
  • Ensure that only calibrated tools and equipment are used in assembly and testing process
  • Maintain traceability of product through varying stages
  • Maintain all records associated with service process for the purpose of Document control
  • Complete product checklist and travelers as required
  • Machine parts by assisting with and operating both manual and automated machines
  • Complete painting and identification of assembled products
  • Assist with packaging of assembled products
  • Other tasks as they are assigned

We Are on the Search For:

  • Ability to work under pressure, within time constraints, managing time effectively/efficiently
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Have a high degree of mechanical aptitude to gain product knowledge with ease
  • Ability to be challenged and to strive for development
  • Participation in Safety Program and Quality Assurance Program.
  • Demonstrated understanding of QHSE Procedures that relate to the Manufacturing functions
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Capability to work as a positive contributing member within team environment.
  • Have a functional understanding of imperial and metric systems.
  • Problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Experience as a General Laborer
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract.
  • Familiar with Service Rig equipment considered an asset.
  • Overhead Crane, Forklift, Skid Steer certificates an asset.
  • Machining and Welding Knowledge would be and asset

Working Conditions

  • Shop environment.
  • Very hands-on role with standing for long periods and frequent kneeling, lifting, bending daily.
  • Steel-toed boots required.
  • Annual holiday closures.
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday some overtime and weekends as required.
  • Required to pass a pre-employment drug test as this is considered a safety ensitive position.
