Temporary position from 02-15-20226 to 11-30-2026 North Dakota Job Order 40 hours/week 18.98/hour Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specifiedmaterials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions tocontrol insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipmentmalfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agriculturalproduction, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinerymalfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers,containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Direct andmonitor the activities of work crews engaged in planting, weeding, or harvesting activities. Operate towed machines such as seed drills ormanure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information.Walk beside or ride on planting machines while inserting plants in planter mechanisms at specified intervals. Drive trucks to haul crops,supplies, tools, or farm workers. Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products.Position boxes or attach bags at discharge ends of machinery to catch products, removing and closing full containers. Drive and operate farmmachinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operateself-propelled combine. Record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting,storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Harvest plants, and transplant or pot and label them. Inform farmers or farm managers of cropprogress. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, sprayand harvest crops. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Sow grass seed, or plant plugs of grass. Repair farm buildings,fences, and other structures.Farming with: Dry Peas, Dry Peas, Durum, Flax Seed, Lentils, Wheat [A.11] The employer will make all deductions required by law, including federal, state, and local income taxes (if applicable), and court-ordered deductions such as, but not limited to, child support or garnishments. Deductions for employer-provided housing, tools, and equipment may only occur if the worker is responsible for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or intentional damage, after the damage has occurred and after gaining the employee' Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience elevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
