Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, in commercial buildings.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals to complete plumbing installations and repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining the scope of work, answering questions, and offering advice on plumbing maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and local plumbing codes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Journeyman Plumber License.
- Proven experience as a plumber, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with commercial plumbing.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and related plumbing components.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Experience with customer service and maintaining positive client relationships
