Ultrasonography Technologist Weekends Only - Sat/SunDepartment: MFS UltrasoundLocation:Millard Fillmore SuburbanLocation of Job: US:NY:WilliamsvilleWork Type: Part-TimeScheduled Work Hours:7a-7pShift 1 Job DescriptionTo provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images utilizing Ultrasound.Weekend employees will be paid a premium rate of one and three tenths (1.3) times the base hourly rate for all hours worked on the weekend. Education And CredentialsDegree or certificate in Diagnostic Ultrasound from a certified Ultrasound Program required. Must become credentialed as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) within 3 years of hire/transfer and sit for first exam within 18 months of hire/transfer and successfully pass within 3 years of hire/transfer. Certification must be current and maintained for employees hired/transferred effective 10/30/01. Credentialed as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) upon hire preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days required. BLS - Existing Ultrasonography Technologists as of 11/10/2020 will have until 8/31/2021 to obtain their BLS.
