We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager with a solid foundation in project management principles and a strong aptitude in Civil or Environmental Engineering in our Williamsville, NY office. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet stakeholder expectations.
Execution and Monitoring: Lead project teams to execute projects according to plan, managing resources, budgets, and timelines effectively. Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2-5 years of project management experience, preferably in civil engineering projects. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile). Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, or similar).
