SUPPLY SOURCE INC Quoting and Ordering (Sales Support) in WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania
SupplySource, Inc. d/b/s STS Innovative Interiors is seeking a full-time Sales Support Representative for our Williamsport office, to work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with over-time as needed.
SupplySource, Inc. has nearly 37 years of experience in providing office space solutions from design, project management, and installation. We have a a diverse client base consising of Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education, K-12, PA State Contract, and Government Business.
Skills:
Must be able to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks and jobs with skillfull communication. Must also have good organizational skills and excellent computer skills, including, Microsoft programs, sales and profit calculations for business, and use of the internet for research.
Education Experience Required: High School Dipoloma or GED
Pay: Estimated and based on experience but starting at $18 p/hr. (negotiable)
Reliable Transportation to and from work required
Summary:
Employee will be responsible to support the activities of the salesperson(s), designer(s), and project manager(s) as they proceed through the sales cycle from account development to the sales' closing the project. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:
Create Proposals / Quotes which includes:
- Specify fabrics and finishes if needed
- Apply contract pricing based on customer eligibility
- Add delivery and /or install charges and other services as applicable
- Complete project information accurately
- Save files to the coinciding folders in SharePoint and our ordering system's file cabinet
- Enter proposals into ordering system as quote
- Make any necessary changes to quotes/orders as needed
Prioritize workload
Email with professional etiqutette
For order entry:
- Review customer PO's for any erros and request revised PO as necessary
- Check the that PO is addressed properly
- Convert above quote to order in our accounting system
- Learn understanding of direct invoice (PA State Contract) and standard orders
- Send appropriate paperwork to manufacturers
- Keep track of orders placed for acknowledgments and dates into the system
- Any follow up as needed
Act as a liaison between customers and vendors on behalf of the salesperson
Call factories for special product quotes if needed
Contact reps for special pricing
Assist with answering and directing telephone calls, welcoming visitors, and assisting elsewhere as needed
