The Master Scheduler & EVM Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for RF power tubes, TWTs, and MPMs while ensuring alignment with program performance goals. This role converts demand into a feasible, capacity‑aware build plan using Infor ERP and provides critical visibility into schedule and cost performance through Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and accurate EAC forecasting. The position requires close daily coordination with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to ensure schedule integrity, material readiness, and program execution in compliance with AS9100 and ITAR requirements.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain the Master Production Schedule using Infor ERP.
Perform rough‑cut capacity planning (RCCP) across special processes including vacuum brazing, assembly, high‑voltage testing and machining operations.
Strong understanding of complex, multi‑level and phantom assembly structures
Support Project Managers by aligning the schedule with program milestones and risk mitigation plans.
Collaborate cross-functional teams to maintain BOMs, Production Routers, lead times, and configuration accuracy within Infor.
Publish MPS performance metrics such as OTD, schedule adherence, WIP aging, and capacity utilization.
Own the tracking, analysis, and reporting of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics—including SPI, CPI, cost/schedule variances, and performance trends—to identify risks early and support proactive recovery planning.
Develop, maintain, and present accurate, data-driven Estimates at Completion (EACs) that incorporate material availability, capacity constraints, production performance, and risk profiles.
Collaborate closely with Program Management and Finance to ensure EACs are aligned with contractual obligations and internal forecasting requirements.
Lead daily/weekly cross‑functional tier meetings to drive schedule adherence and resolve constraints.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Master Scheduling or Production Planning in aerospace, defense electronics, or RF/microwave manufacturing.
Proficiency with Infor ERP planning, MRP, and scheduling modules.
Ability to perform capacity planning and schedule optimization in complex, long‑lead manufacturing environments.
Advanced Excel capabilities, including complex functions and data analysis
SQL experience is highly desirable
