Job Title: Electrical Helper
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Helper to join our team on a large-scale fit-out project at a manufacturing facility. This role involves supporting electricians in various phases of electrical installation, making it an excellent opportunity for those with basic electrical or construction experience who are eager to advance their skills.
Responsibilities
Assist electricians in installing EMT conduit throughout the facility.
Perform conduit bending up to 2 inches, with larger bends handled by additional support.
Aid in the installation of rigid conduit alongside experienced team members.
Pull wire and install electrical devices such as switches, outlets, lighting, and junction boxes.
Measure, cut, bend, strap, and assemble conduit runs as directed.
Support the layout and routing of electrical pathways and equipment locations.
Utilize hand and power tools including drills, benders, saws, and basic testers.
Stage materials, organize tools, and maintain clean work areas.
Follow all jobsite safety protocols and work cooperatively with electricians and other trades.
Essential Skills
Basic electrical or construction experience.
Proficiency in conduit bending and electrical wiring.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with using hand and power tools.
Ability to work on ladders and lifts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsport, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
