Aerotek Warehouse Worker in Williamsburg, Virginia

Warehouse Worker – Medical Logistics Support

Location: Williamsburg, VA (On‑Site)

Type: Contract (4 Months)

Pay Rate: $22.38–$22.94/hr

Schedule: Full‑Time

This position supports warehouse operations for a large medical logistics mission. You’ll help manage incoming and outgoing materials, maintain accurate inventory, and support logistics activities essential to operational readiness. This role is best suited for someone experienced in warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and material handling equipment.

About the Role

You will perform a wide range of warehouse support tasks including receiving, picking, packing, kitting, inventory checks, documentation, and operating warehouse equipment. Duties support a high‑standard logistics program requiring accuracy, organization, and reliable performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Use authorized logistics databases (such as DMLSS, HIMS, or similar systems) for routine warehouse processes.

  • Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship general and specialized materials and equipment.

  • Support supply turn‑in, disposal, and material staging tasks.

  • Perform inventory counts and update documentation using approved systems.

  • Create, complete, and maintain packing lists, labels, and other documentation.

  • Prepare kits and assemble materials for outbound shipments or field use.

  • Operate material‑handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety requirements.

  • Wear proper PPE including steel‑toe footwear, hard hat, reflective vest, and gloves.

  • Support customer service inquiries and general logistics coordination as needed.

What You Bring

  • Experience in warehouse logistics, supply activities, material handling, or inventory operations.

  • Skill in receiving, shipping, storing, picking, and packing.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, order picker, etc.).

  • Comfort using logistics or inventory systems.

  • Strong documentation and organization skills.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse on a secure installation (access screening required).

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with military logistics systems or databases.

  • Experience supporting general supply, warehousing, or customer support operations.

  • Ability to maintain equipment certifications for warehouse machinery.

Work Environment

  • On‑site warehouse environment located on a secured installation.

  • Extended standing, walking, lifting, and equipment operation required.

  • PPE required during the entire shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.38 - $22.94/hr.
