Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This position involves tasks such as hardware insertion and unmasking of small metal parts. You will be responsible for using a machine to press hardware pieces into selected holes in metal parts and removing masking tape from parts after painting. At the end of your shift, ensure your work area is clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Use the install machine to press correct hardware pieces into selected holes in metal parts.

  • Remove masking tape from small metal parts post-painting.

  • Shelve parts for shipping as directed.

  • Ensure the work area is clean at the end of each shift, including picking up fallen hardware.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with production and general labor tasks.

  • Ability to operate hand tools.

  • Experience in assembly and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using small hand tools.

  • Ability to peel tape with hands.

  • Experience working with small screws and knobs; must possess nimble hands.

Type: Contract (3 Months)

Pay Rate: $15.00–$16.00/hr

Schedule: Full‑Time | Monday–Friday

About the Role

Production Workers will perform either Hardware Insertion or Unmasking tasks, depending on the daily workload. Both roles involve working with small metal parts and require attention to detail, hand dexterity, and the ability to follow clear instructions.

What You’ll Do

Hardware Insertion

  • Place small hardware pieces into aluminum panels.

  • Use an insertion machine to press hardware securely into pre‑selected holes.

  • Keep the workstation organized and collect any fallen hardware before shift end.

Unmasking

  • Remove masking tape from small metal parts after painting.

  • Inspect parts for clean edges and proper finish.

  • Place completed parts on shelving for the next stage of processing.

  • Ability to work with hand tools , small screws, knobs, and similar items.

  • Comfort performing repetitive tasks with steady pace and accuracy.

  • Good hand‑eye coordination and the ability to work with small components.

  • Reliability, a team mindset, and willingness to learn various shop tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
