Insight Global Engineering Technician III in Williamsburg, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Tech III to perform field/lab testing and inspection of construction materials (i.e soils, aggregates, concrete, steel, etc. The ideal candidate will need to be familiar and proficient with test processes, material management, data submission, and proper documentation to ensure environmental and safety measures are met.
Your day to day will consist of driving to client locations and testing the above mentioned construction materials and verifying it is acceptable to proceed with work. You will attend morning briefings with a project manager and provide them with frequent status updates and documentation for each job you travel to. All work will be from Hampton, VA to New Kent, VA
Pay varies based on experience and certifications $21-$26

Skills and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction material inspection
ACI, WACEL or NICET Certification
Familiar with Nuclear Density Gauge operation
Clear driving record for regular vehicle operation
Proficiency with Word and Excel VDOT Certifications: Soils and aggregate or Asphalt
