Blue Barn Farm --- Williamsburg, PA
Blue Barn Farm is seeking a Farm Laborer to join our diversified vegetable and small fruit operation for the growing season. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in farming who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of a small, hardworking team. You'll work closely with the owner/manager and play an important role in the daily operations and overall success of the farm.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with all stages of crop production, including:
Bed preparation, seeding, planting and weeding.
Harvesting, washing, packing, storage, and quality control
Safely operate and maintain farm tools.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience with gardening, landscaping, or farming preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
Interest in organic and/or regenerative farming practices.
Familiarity with specialty crops is a plus.
Physically able to perform strenuous outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
Ability to work well as part of a small team and communicate effectively.
Comfortable using basic technology when appropriate.
Position Details
Job Type: Seasonal (March--September), 2-3 days/week, 6-7 hours/day
Compensation: Hourly, negotiable, commensurate with experience.
