Electromechanical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Electromechanical Technician, working Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with occasional Saturdays. You will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems.
Test, operate, and maintain automated and robotic equipment at worksites.
Familiarize with various voltages such as 12v, 24v, 120v, 220v, and 480v AC/DC.
Install, repair, or replace parts and components in various automated machinery.
Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics for automated machinery.
Understand hydraulics, pneumatics, machine water systems, and glue and adhesive systems.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude
GMP knowledge
Electrical maintenance
Understanding of mechanical systems
Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise
Conveyor maintenance
Electromechanical and 3-phase 480V knowledge
Proficiency in PLC, troubleshooting, and VFD
Use of multimeters
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilkes Barre, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $35.00/hr.
