This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on design work, problem‑solving in manufacturing environments, and leading efforts that enhance product performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new and existing products.
Apply sound mechanical engineering principles to improve product performance, reliability, and user experience.
Coordinate with engineering team members to align designs with project schedules and budget targets.
Prepare, update, and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Conduct and participate in design reviews with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust designs.
Support manufacturing by identifying root causes of production issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with operations teams on cost‑reduction, manufacturability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and maintain bills of materials and support production launch activities.
Assist with prototype builds, testing, and validation activities to confirm design intent and performance.
Coordinate limited field or application testing as required to validate product performance in real‑world conditions.
Partner with product, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams to resolve technical issues.
Support warranty and product performance investigations by analyzing data and recommending corrective actions.
Collaborate with commercial and planning teams to evaluate feasibility, cost, and customer requirements for new and existing products.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, accountability, and follow‑through.
Produce clear, accurate engineering documentation that complies with relevant mechanical standards and codes for product applications.
Follow all safety, quality, and ethical standards in daily work and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead or actively contribute to the product development team, providing technical guidance and creative problem‑solving.
Engage in project‑based engineering activities, including planning, tracking progress, and reporting status to stakeholders.
Perform hands‑on work in production or lab environments as needed, including using tools or equipment to support engineering tasks.
Meet physical requirements of the role, including standing or moving throughout production or lab environments, reaching, bending, and lifting components or products, and wearing required personal protective equipment.

Interest in taking the next professional step by leading or mentoring within a product development team.
Ability to collaborate with commercial and planning teams to assess feasibility, cost, and customer requirements.
Work Environment
The role primarily follows a first‑shift schedule and offers a mix of office work and time spent in temperature‑controlled manufacturing or lab environments. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, customer support, commercial, and planning. The position involves occasional hands‑on work with tools or equipment to support engineering tasks, prototype builds, and testing. You will move between desk‑based design activities using 3D CAD and office software and on‑site activities in production or lab areas.
