Job Title: CNC Operators needed
Job Description
This full-time, hourly role focuses on manufacturing high-quality parts using CNC machining centers on 3rd shift. You will set up and operate CNC mills, perform your own runs, change materials and tools, and verify product quality using precision measuring instruments. The position requires strong experience with multi-axis machining, Mazak equipment, and CNC controls, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and maintain accurate production documentation.

Responsibilities
Manufacture quality products on CNC machining centers, including performing your own set-ups and running production on controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, and Mazatrol.
Change materials, cutting tools, and inserts as required while minimizing product loss or damage.
Read and accurately interpret internal shop drawings, customer engineering drawings, blueprints, and setup documents to ensure correct part production.
Efficiently and accurately use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools to verify product quality.
Make adjustments to machine setups, offsets, and processes as needed to enhance product quality, maintain tolerances, and improve process efficiency.
Determine cutting tool requirements and perform timely replacement or adjustment of tools to maintain consistent machining performance.
Utilize grinding and cutting tools such as air grinders, drill presses, manual mills, grinders, saws, and burr tools to complete machining and finishing operations.
Operate all assigned machines in the area, including multi-axis mills, lathes, Makino MAGS, and Toyota machining cells, without assistance once trained.
Perform 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining operations, including high-speed aluminum machining, ensuring parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation related to product cost, part movement, and shop loss according to company procedures.
Use shop orders, setup documents, and the company MRP system to clock in and out of jobs, track time, and record production accurately.
Monitor product quality during production runs and determine when to stop producing due to quality or safety concerns, escalating issues as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area by following 5S techniques and good housekeeping practices.
Use appropriate lifting equipment, fixtures, and safe methods to handle heavy or awkward parts and materials, preventing personal injury.
Maintain awareness of all safety-related information, including MSDS, and follow procedures for safe handling and extinguishing of flammable materials.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions, and participate in required safety trainings and meetings.
Maintain knowledge of proper machine operation when working with excessive weight or large components.
Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and production staff to meet production, quality, and delivery goals.
Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor or production management to support overall manufacturing operations.
Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, nonexempt position on 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, working approximately 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., with the option to start at 11:00 p.m. to obtain a 40-hour workweek. The role is based on a climate-controlled, air-conditioned shop floor with exposure to water-soluble coolants and elevated noise levels from machining operations. You will work around CNC mills, lathes, Makino MAGS systems, and Toyota machining cells, using precision measuring tools and various grinding and cutting equipment. The facility follows structured safety procedures, including the use of proper lifting equipment, adherence to MSDS guidelines, and established processes for handling flammable materials. Steel-toe boots are required as part of the dress code, and you will be expected to maintain a clean, organized work area consistent with 5S and good housekeeping practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.
