BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to support, analyze and design methods and procedures for new and existing information system applications, and enterprise level databases. This is accomplished by assisting in the design, programming and maintenance of technical applications, working with users and transferring their business needs into technical requirements, designing custom reports, assisting with system conversions, developing specifications, establishing and maintaining security, ensuring proper backups are in place, and assisting and training users. Other duties include developing custom applications, completing data conversions, special projects, providing technical advice, maintaining an inventory of installed databases and the vendors service level agreements, and coordinating recommendations.

Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice 2 S Administers servers, related systems and databases and coordinates problem resolution by coordinating work with users and vendors, designing and implementing new applications and/or features, researching problems, designing solutions, testing and implementing software and databases, verifying accuracy, troubleshooting, and maintaining all systems and software. 3 S Maintains backups and system security by designing and documenting user policies and procedures, troubleshooting issues and referring issues to vendors 4 S Develops and modifies applications by programming systems, testing, maintaining, coding and documenting solutions. 5 S Maintains databases by coordinating department uses, working with users on specific applications, requirements and reports, developing new databases, managing tables, administering security and policies, and completing backups. 6 S Provides technical support by answering questions and inquiries, responding to user problems, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Description of Minimum Job Requirements- Experience-Related Requirements Over one year and up to and including two years. Vocational/ Educational Preparation Requires Bachelor's degree or education and training equivalent to four years of college education in business, liberal arts, or any field other than engineering or the hard sciences.
