Faith Mission Part-time Warehouse Associate in Wichita Falls, Texas
Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Category: Short-Shift (less than 20 hours per week), Non-Exempt
Organizational Relationships: The Warehouse Associate reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Job Summary: Provide safe, responsible, and courteous service while performing job duties diligently.
Job Duties: - Offer courteous and respectful service to donors and customers. - Maintain accurate physical and digital records. - Evaluate the viability of donations for resale. - Communicate respectfully to donors if a donation is unsuitable for resale. - Sort merchandise for quality and profitability. - Clean and repair acceptable donations. - Distribute products to designated locations as directed. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. - Operate a forklift according to safety guidelines when loading and unloading products. - Transport materials to the appropriate workstations. - Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications: - Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and a clean driving record. - Must be at least 21 years old. - Must be a mature, born-again Christian, a member in good standing of a Christian Church that believes and teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and willing to agree with the WFFMI Statement of Faith. - Must present a respectful attitude in both appearance and demeanor. - Must be able to maintain confidentiality. - Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player. - Must possess strong organizational skills. - Must have positive prior job experience. - Must be able to pass a background check. - Must be able to pass a drug test. - Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, use arms and hands fully, and communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
