ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors is seeking a Space Planner to support activities under the Sheppard Air Force Base contract in Wichita Falls, Texas. This position is required to be on-site.
Key Role:
Specializes in optimizing interior spaces to enhance functionality, efficiency, and aesthetics.
Involves analyzing available spaces, understanding clients' needs, and designing layouts that maximize the use of area while aligning with design principles and regulations.
Space Planners collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and clients to create plans that cater to specific requirements, whether for commercial, residential, or institutional spaces.
They consider factors such as traffic flow, furniture placement, lighting, and spatial organization to create harmonious environments.
Effective communication skills allow them to translate clients' visions into practical designs and present proposals clearly.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of design principles are crucial for successful space planning.
By combining artistic and functional elements, Space Planners contribute to creating inspiring and well-utilized spaces that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of occupants while ensuring optimal use of available areas.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in architecture from an NCARB Accredited University, or.
Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning or Political Science from an Accredited PAB University, or.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in a major appropriate to the community-planning field.
1-3 years of experience in one of the above professions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Air Force or DOW experience.
