LURVEY SOD FARM LLC Sod Crew Laborer and Fork Lift Operator in WHITEWATER, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as Case Fork Lifts, mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. . Load and tarp trailers after loading with Sod . Transfer full or empty pallets during the harvesting process . Clean up debris from fields before harvesting Sod . Maintain Farm equipment during the off season/ will include building Sod Pallets . Paint Farm Equipment during the off season months . Maintain equipment during the season Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, or other grounds features. Shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots, and spread salt in those areas. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools. Care for artificial turf fields, periodically removing the turf and replacing cushioning pads or vacuuming and disinfecting the turf after use to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.
