Anticipated period of employment: 03/16/2026 to 12/31/2026

This job requires a minimum of 3 months of verifiable agricultural field work experience handling tasks. Applicants must be able to furnish verifiable job reference(s) or comparable third party documentation from recent employer(s) establishing acceptable prior experience. Must be able to lift/carry 60 lbs.

Crops/Commodities: cattle, hay, grain farm. Primary duties (performed the majority of workdays): Perform manual and/or mechanized duties associated with the breeding, care, and raising of livestock on a ranch. Feed and water livestock. Herd livestock to pasture for grazing. Herd animals into corral and/or stall. Manually restrain animal. Maintain/repair fences used to contain herd animals. Performed manual and/or mechanized duties associated with tilling, planting, cultivating and harvesting grain and hay. Use hand tools including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers and saws. Be able to lift, carry, and load/unload products and supplies. Use power equipment including but not limited to tractors, planters, mowers, plows, sprayers, cultivators,(combine if able), power shears, chain saws and high lifts. Must operate agricultural equipment safely, with or without direction. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other crop protectants. Apply fertilizers, plant growth chemicals, conditioners, and other plant related treatments at the correct times depending on plant type, growth, climate and crop conditions. Mow, cut, and weed fields. Perform ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Bending, stooping and kneeling required. Use hand tools including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies. Assist with farm building/field maintenance and repairs. Repair fences. Help with shop maintenance on tractors, equipment and shop tools. See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description
