The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead – Step into a pivotal role shaping the future of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), cultural and natural heritage stewardship, and regulatory excellence with WSP.

As Vice President, Ecology, EIA & Heritage , you will guide a regional cohort of technical experts delivering projects that influence major infrastructure, environmental policy, energy transition, and sustainable development pathways. Your leadership will set new benchmarks for quality, collaboration, innovation, and meaningful community impact.

This role can be based out of any of our WSP offices across British Columbia & Yukon , offering flexibility and a welcoming environment wherever you call home.

  • Develop and elevate senior leaders , empowering them to drive high‑performing teams, shape strategic direction, and build a resilient leadership pipeline that strengthens WSP’s long‑term environmental excellence.

  • Develop and elevate senior environmental leaders, empowering them to guide high‑performing teams, strengthen strategic direction, and build a resilient leadership pipeline that ensures enduring excellence across WSP’s environmental practice.

  • Strengthen regional performance by driving operational efficiencies and applying strong business acumen to help teams pivot effectively in response to evolving market conditions, ensuring WSP remains competitive and future‑ready.

  • Ensure excellence in regulatory processes, leading teams in producing technically defensible, science‑based assessments that support successful outcomes for communities and clients.

  • Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, belonging, and ethical leadership that supports your people and enables them to bring their best to every project.

Compensation

All Zones: Salary range for this position begins at $195,980.
