L.E.A.P Head Start/Early Head Start is looking for a Teachers Aide committed to making a positive impact in our community. Your responsibilities will include: * Helping maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom space * Supporting learning goals and program outcomes * Assisting with group activities and spending one-on-one time with children * Keeping daily routines and schedules running smoothly Position Details * Hourly Pay: $16.47 * Schedule: 35 hours per week, year-round (MondayFriday, 7:30 AM3:00 PM) * Paid Time Off: * 35 hours of personal time available on your first day * 17 paid holidays each year * Sick and vacation time accrued bi-weekly What Were Looking For * A valid drivers license * A caring, patient approach and an understanding of young children and families * At least one year of experience working with infants/toddlers (preferred) Education RequirementsCandidates may qualify through any of the following: * Associates degree in Early Childhood Education * Infant/Toddler CDA * BOCES Early Childhood Education diploma or certification * ECE certification from an accredited college * Or: High school diploma/GED with willingness to complete a CDAL.E.A.P will fund the credentialJob Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance
