2nd Shift | Stable Hours | Hands-On Role
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Tool Room Attendant to support a client that is the largest U.S. distributor of HVAC and plumbing supplies, PVF, waterworks, fire, and fabrication products . This is a great opportunity for a dependable, customer-focused professional who enjoys hands-on work and wants stability with a well-established operation.
Role Snapshot
Location: Whitehall, MI (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (Paid working lunch)
Pay Rate: Open to negotiation based on experience
About the Role
This position functions much like a tool room or counter attendant —think of a parts counter environment where customers arrive needing specific items, and you’re the go-to expert who helps them get exactly what they need. While this is a warehouse-based role, no forklifts are used , and full training is provided for candidates with strong work history and a willingness to learn.
You’ll rotate between four nearby locations during your shift , spending approximately two hours at each site, using your personal vehicle for travel (details reviewed during the interview).
All interviews and initial training will take place in Whitehall, MI 49461.
What You’ll Do
Pull, prepare, and stage orders for customer pickup
Verify incoming inventory and place stock in correct locations
Accurately review work orders and ensure order completeness
Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and secure storeroom
Provide a high level of customer service at the counter
Travel between assigned locations during the shift
Required Qualifications
At least 6 months of consistent tenure at most recent job
No employment gaps greater than 3 months
Minimum 6 months of customer service experience listed on resume
Ability to pass a government background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation (personal vehicle required during shift)
Strong attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
Previous warehouse or stockroom experience
Product knowledge (or the willingness and ability to learn quickly)
Ability to read and understand work orders
Basic computer/data entry experience
Work Environment & Expectations
Steel-toe shoes or boots required
Casual but appropriate industrial attire
Attendance and punctuality are extremely important

Pay Details: $17.25 per hour
