This position provides quality occupational therapy services set by state practice guidelines, Medicare and assigned area(s) policies and procedures. Logan Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their overall quality of life.

What You’ll Do
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment tailored to each patient’s age, culture, condition, and goals
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in alignment with OT best practices, Logan Health policies, and payer requirements
Deliver care in a thoughtful, efficient, and clinically competent manner
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and Montana practice guidelines
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, peers, students, and interdisciplinary team members
Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to establish goals and support discharge planning
Contribute to the growth of rehabilitation services through participation in department, facility, and community initiatives
Meet established productivity standards and support overall team success
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment through professionalism, teamwork, and accountability
Qualifications
Required:
Current Montana Occupational Therapist (OT) licenseor
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with the ability to obtain Montana OT licensure within 30 days of hire
Additional Requirements:
RQI Provider (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire/transfer or prior to independent patient care, whichever comes first
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, treatment techniques, materials, and equipment
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Demonstrated integrity, compassion, and empathy in all interactions
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn additional systems

Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)
Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
