Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a short-term, seasonal opportunity?
Logan Health is seeking a Seasonal Occupational Therapist to provide coverage in our Inpatient Acute Care and Outpatient settings at Logan Health Whitefish Hospital.

Our Seasonal OTs bring strong clinical expertise and confidence to work independently across a wide range of diagnoses. You’ll provide functional evaluations, individualized treatment planning, ADL retraining, mobility and upper extremity interventions, cognitive rehabilitation, discharge planning, and collaborative care coordination across diverse patient populations.

You will be working in Logan Health Whitefish Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital located in the scenic ski resort town of Whitefish, Montana.
We are in the heart of the Flathead Valley, offering endless outdoor recreation — skiing, hiking and biking trails, whitewater rafting, and breathtaking access to Glacier National Park.

Seasonal Position Details
Full-Time schedule required for a minimum 13-week commitment
15% Premium (Seasonal Differential)

Seasonal Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) of the following required:
Current Montana Occupational Therapist (OT) licenseOR
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with the ability to obtain a Montana OT license within thirty (30) days of hire
Additional Requirements:
Current BLS HCP CPR certification as applicable to assigned area(s)
Knowledge of and skill in the use of occupational therapy materials, equipment, procedures, and treatment techniques
Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to prioritize effectively
Ability to function independently while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn additional software systems as needed
Job Specific Duties
Effectively plans, oversees, delegates, and instructs assigned staff members to ensure services are delivered in a competent and efficient manner
Administers occupational therapy treatment appropriate to patient age, culture, and clinical condition
Develops and implements individualized treatment programs in accordance with OT principles, Logan Health policies, and payer requirements
Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to establish treatment goals and discharge plans
Demonstrates effective communication with patients, peers, families, students, and team members regarding OT-related care
Completes all required documentation accurately and timely in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and Montana occupational therapy practice standards
Participates in departmental, facility, and community initiatives to enhance rehabilitation services
Achieves established productivity standards per department protocol

Shift:
Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)
Full-time hours, 30 hours per week, 13 week assignment
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
