Pay Package: $38/hr + Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K)
Contract Length: 39 weeks/Full School year
Grade Level: Middle School
Schedule: Full time, M-F 8:45AM – 4PM
Location: White Bear Lake area
Position Overview: Will provide health services and nursing support to students primarily within the cluster program, with additional support to the school health office and limited scheduled time at Alternative Learning Center (ALC). This position works under the direction of a licensed school nurse or appropriate administrator and plays a key role in promoting student health, safety, and access to learning.
The School Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a school setting. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing's philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited registered, practical or vocational nursing program
Licensed as a Licensed Practical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
One year of professional experience, preferred
Current CPR
PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
