Tessera is seeking an organized and experienced HVAC Refrigeration Technician with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Repair, overhaul, maintain, and service HVAC equipment and control systems. Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, motors, etc. Work from blueprints, drawings, models, and/or verbal, written instructions. Perform occasional painting and touch up of structures and equipment. Must be available for after-hours dispatch and on-call rotation. Maintain EPA, Navy, and CFSI required refrigeration documentation. Communicate and interact directly with the customer and supervisors; informing the customer of unexpected or additional repairs and determining customer needs. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints. Ensure completed work meets quality control standards. Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor. Follow all Safety Procedures and Policies. Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of utility maintenance experienced required. Refrigeration transition and recovery technician certification required. Type III (Universal), DDC, and pneumatic control experience required. EL-06A license preferred. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time. Requirements: A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
