Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description
Candidates will utilize calipers and micrometers to inspect parts coming off the machine. A great attention to detail is essential.
Responsibilities
Use calipers and micrometers to inspect parts for quality assurance.
Maintain precise records of inspections and part counts.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure components meet specifications.
Conduct visual inspections to identify defects in parts.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency with blueprints.
Experience using micrometers and calipers.
Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality inspection.
Familiarity with visual inspection processes.

Work Environment
Work in an air-conditioned, updated precision department featuring 100 different CNC machines, including 83 Swiss machines and 17 mill/lathe machines. The role allows the flexibility to either sit or stand, providing a comfortable work setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
