We are seeking an experienced & safety-focused Class A CDL Driver Trainer to join our flatbed division.  This role is responsible for mentoring, training and evaluating new and existing drivers to ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies and safe flatbed operating practices.  The ideal candidate has extensive flatbed experience, a passion for teaching and a commitment to safety excellence.

*Key Responsibilities:  Train & mentor in load securement, tarping and safe driving techniques.                                                                                                                                                                                               Conduct ride-alongs and hands-on instruction to evaluate driver performance.                                                                                                                                                                                     Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines and company safety standards.                                                                                                                                                             Provide instruction on proper use of equipment, includings straps, chains, binders and tarps.                                                                                                                                                            Assess driver readiness & provide feedback for improvement                                                                                                                                                                                                                Lead classrooom and field training sessions as needed                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Maintain accurate training records, evaluations & reports                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Promote a culture of safety, professionalism and continous improvement                                                                                                                                                                                              Stay current on industry regulation and best practices

Prior training or mentoring experience preferred, strong knowledge of load securement & DOT regulations, excellent communication & leadership skills, patience, professionalism & strong problem-solving skills......
